Ingeo Systems Records First Electronic Real Estate Document in Yakima County, WA
Ingeo makes news in Yakima County, Washington, by recording the first electronic real estate document in the county's history. Ingeo's process delivers many benefits, saving costs and time for both county recorders and submitting organizations.

LOGAN, UT, May 29, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ingeo Systems, Inc., the nation's number one provider of electronic document recording technology, and Yakima County, the second largest in area in Washington State, recently announced the recording of the first electronic real estate document in the county's history. "With Ingeo's electronic document recording capability, Yakima County now has a faster, more efficient system for processing our real estate documents," said Jennifer Richter, Yakima County Recording Supervisor. "We are eliminating paper from the recording process, improving customer service, and helping the county post substantial savings in both time and costs," she said.

First American Equity Loan Services was the submitter that sent the first electronic real estate document to Yakima County. "We're happy to be the first to submit in this important county," said Karl Trottnow, E-Recording Development Manager for First American Equity Loan Services. "First American is committed to the continued expansion of e-recording nationwide and the addition of Yakima County will benefit nearly 300,000 residents of this county in addition to the submitters we represent," he added.

Yakima is the fifth county in Washington State to implement Ingeo's electronic document recording solution. Others include Franklin, King, Pierce and Snohomish. Ingeo has plans to expand into six more Washington counties by year-end. "Currently, Ingeo's system brings speed, efficiency and cost savings to more than 56% of the population in Washington State," said Karl Klessig, Ingeo's CEO. "With the addition of Yakima and our other targeted counties, we expect to cover nearly 80% of Washington State's population by the end of 2009."

Ingeo is prepared to assist any county in implementing an electronic recording solution, regardless of budget or technology constraints. "We continue to evolve our technology to enable all recorders to take advantage of the benefits of electronic recording, " Klessig, said. "We work directly with counties and have partnerships with nearly all the major county recording system vendors," he continued. "With Ingeo's Electronic Document Recording System, there isn't a county in the U.S. that can't save time and money with our electronic document recording capability."

With this installation, Yakima has joined major counties across the nation that are using Ingeo's electronic recording solution to process hundreds of thousands of electronic documents per year. Many mortgage lenders in the U.S. are using Ingeo's capability for the electronic recording of mortgage documents. "No other service has a complete end-to-end capability that can adapt to virtually any submitter's system output and provide fully automated signing, notarization, delivery, recording, payment and return in conjunction with existing county recording systems." Klessig said.

Currently Ingeo has 278 counties in its network and is expanding rapidly. The company works with nearly all the major county recording system vendors, and now has integrated with 30 technology partners. Ingeo also services a majority of the national submitters, including nine of the top ten and the majority of the top 30 lending institutions in the U.S. This is in addition to regional and local submitters in counties where Ingeo has county recording available.

Ingeo's Electronic Document Recording System reduces processing costs and time while improving data accuracy. A process that used to take days with paper documents now is completed in a matter of seconds. In any given month Ingeo processes more documents than all other recording organizations combined.
